Co. Ltd (CAH) to international standards. As a member of the IATA
Ground Handling Council, we normally enter into agreements with
the airlines based on the IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreement.
Our operation is organized into five Department:- Ramp,
Passenger Services,
Cargo, Security,
and Maintenance.
About Caribbean Aircraft Handling
Caribbean Aircraft Handling Co. Ltd opened for business June
1, 1992. What a day that was, thirty-three flights by evening
and smiles on the faces of all staff - a job well done. The company
had been registered March 27, 1992. This gave management just
over two months to bring the staff up to professional readiness.
We did it.
The Company had been formed to cater to the growing demand for
quality and competitive ground handling services at the Grantley
Adams International Airport in Barbados. The staff complement
was seventy-one full-time and nine part-time. Twelve years later
the staff level has reached 257.
And as far as our core business, aircraft, is concerned we have
had more than 203,400 movements in the decade. Despite that number
of aircraft movements we still approach each flight with safety
foremost in mind, with the stamp of quality in our service but
with the competitive edge in all things. Indeed, we offer ramp,
passenger, security and cargo handling to all sizes and types
of aircraft from the smallest single-engine to the most recent
wide-bodied.
Our pledge is to provide quality service at rates that relate
to our highly competitive global environment that is also demanding
and fast paced.
During the next ten years and beyond we shall reinforce our attitude
of excellence so that all our customers can continue to be assured
of service that meets all international standards.
