Caribbean Aircraft Handling

Caribbean Aircraft Handling Company Limited commenced commercial operation on June 1, 1992 providing ramp handling services for American Airlines and LIAT.  It was formed to cater to the growing demand for quality and competitive ground handling services at the Grantley Adams International Airport. As the premier airport services provider in Barbados, Caribbean Aircraft Handling employs over 300 persons dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in the art of service delivery.

On average, Caribbean Aircraft Handling manages in excess of 600 monthly aircraft departures.  Current scheduled customers include:

  • Air Canada
  • American Airlines
  • Gol
  • JetBlue
  • LIAT
  • U.S. Airways
  • Virgin Atlantic Airways.

These airlines operate a mix of equipment from the Dash 8 to the B 747-400.  Additionally, the company also provides services to seasonal and ad hoc charter operations (inclusive of General Aviation flights) such as CanJet; Jordan Aviation; Suriname Airways; Volga Dnepr and the like.

Our services include passenger, ramp, cargo, security as well as flight dispatch and load control services and the coordination of catering, maintenance and fuel services.  As a member of IATA Ground Handing Council, our performance is of the highest possible standard.
